Their staff is very accommodating in providing appointments both for emergencies and follow up. The doctor is very sought after due to her clinical expertise and patient manner. You may have to wait but this is because they are accommodating with appointments and the doctor spends the necessary time for examination and discussion of treatment. She personally calls with biopsy results and to discuss treatment options. Follow up is prompt.

I was not confident at all in the decisions of this provider. She clearly did not care enough to conduct a full physical exam and obtain a complete patient history. Not only did she not conduct a full patient history, but she also did not even ask about any symtomps that I was having. All she did was look at one section of my skin, ask how long it was there, say she didn't know what it was, and gave a prescription. A second doctor told me to stop taking the medication because it would have adverse effects for the length of time she prescribed it for! Completely inept.

The office staff tried to help me get in for an appointment when it was an good time and date for me, but it's going to take longer than I hoped. I felt the staff was friendly enough. They didn't go above and beyond, but they did their jobs. Recommending them to someone would be like a punishment. I have been there twice because I couldn't get appointments with any other doctor. She never told me what was causing my skin infection when I asked her she told me that she did not know. She did not even look at the infected area but gave me some random ointment. Worst doctor ever. I wish I hadn't bothered to spend the time and money on this appointment.

I ended up going to someone else in Schenectady and he was really nice. No wait.
This staff is unbelievably rude. Office dirty.
I actually think that any good reviews on this site MUST come from either Dr. Grant, or she pays someone to write them because everyone in the waiting room (7 people) felt the same way we did.
it was all for nothing. Some of my questions were answered during the appointment, but not all. I'm not impressed. I felt the staff was rude and unprofessional. I got no sort of welcome from them and they weren't friendly in the least.Then I write a letter to them cancelling my next appointment and explaining in a nice way why I was doing that. No response. And they left me a reminder on my home voice mail for the appointment. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND THEY JUST DON'T CARE.

I waited for more than an hour to get in to a room. During my wait time i noticed that the office is really dirty - the carpet, the chairs. It's just kind of gross. 2 people left because the wait was so long. As I waited I noticed that one of the exam room doors actually opens pretty much right into the waiting room. I SAW a lady's bare legs and undies as she sat on the exam table. When Dr. Grant finally came to the room, there was no apology for the wait. I asked if a 1 hour wait was normal and she said YES, and that is what I should expect in the future because she is such a great doctor that she takes a lot of time with each patient. I don't understand why their scheduling can't respect their patients enough to make the wait less than an hour. I felt slighted and I won't be going back. There are other derms.
