After going to a pediatrician off bloomingdale for most of my daughters life i decided i wanted to find a different doctor that was more one on one. Everytime i go, i see the same doctor unlike at my old peds where you see someone new each time that has opposite opinions then the one before. Dr.Patel knows who i am when we go in for my daughters care which means a lot to me, we are Alesha and Hannah, not just another patient that day. Recently my daughter had an allergic reaction and i had to call the after hour answering service and within 5 minutes i got a call back from Dr.Patel himself. He knew who i was and that made me feel more comfortable with what he said to do. Other doctors i have seen have to ask what she weighs, her age, etc.. but with a doctor who is more personal it wasn't necessary. The best thing of all is the waiting time for your appointment, which is none. I have never gone in there and had to wait more then 2-3 minutes. My last doctor had a wait time of at least 30 mins just to get in the back room and then another 20 just for the doctor to come in ahhh. Im so happy i found a great pediatrician and hope others will switch to him to see what a real doctor visit feels like :)
