2 cups white flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup 2% milk
1 large egg
1 cup fresh peaches, diced
Combine the white flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl.
Combine melted butter (make sure it's slightly cooled), milk, and large egg in a different bowl.
Mix the wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients and then add the fresh peaches. Stir the mixture until just blended.
Spoon the mixture into a muffin tray containing 12 cups. Bake the muffins at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
