Ingredients

  • Donuts

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour

    • 1 1/4 cups sugar

    • 2 teaspoons baking powder

    • 1/4 cup fresh lemon balm, minced

    • 1 cup Greek yogurt

    • 1.4 cup milk

    • 2 eggs

    • 1 teaspoon salt

    • 4 tablespoons butter

  • Blackberry Glaze

    • ¼ cup cream

    • 6 blackberries, smashed

    • 1 tablespoon corn syrup

    • 1 cup powdered sugar

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 325°F and lightly coat a donut pan with baking spray.

  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  • Add the lemon balm, yogurt, melted butter, milk and eggs. Combine well until batter is smooth.

  • Fill the donut pan and bake for 10 minutes.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool for one minute. Transfer to a cooling rack.

  • Bake the remaining mixture. When all donuts have cooled, prepare the glaze.

  • In a large bowl, mix all of the glaze ingredients and whisk until smooth.

  • Coat all donuts by dipping into glaze. Donuts may require two coats.

  • Allow glaze to harden. Serve.
