Ingredients

  • 3 cups water

  • 1/4 pound smoked, skinless, turkey breast

  • 1 tablespoon fresh hot pepper, chopped

  • 2 pounds mustard greens (or turnip greens, collard greens, kale, or mixture of greens)

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, place all ingredients (except greens) and bring to boil.

  • Wash the greens thoroughly and remove stems.

  • Tear or slice the greens into bite-size pieces.

  • Add the greens to the saucepan and cook for 20 minutes or until tender.
