Ingredients

  • 1 pound 93% lean ground beef

  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste

  • One 16-ounce jar gluten-free green taco sauce

  • 1/4 cup water

  • One 15-ounce can kidney beans, rinsed

Directions

  • In a large saucepan, cook beef, bell pepper and onion over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.

  • Add garlic, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper, cooking for 30 seconds. Add taco sauce and water, and bring to a simmer.

  • Reduce heat, cover, and cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Add beans and cook 1-2 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately.
