Ingredients

  • 2 -15 ounce cans garbanzo beans

  • Cooking spray

  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Cayenne pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Drain the beans in a strainer and rinse well. Shake to remove water. Let dry on a paper towel while mixing the other ingredients.

  • In a bowl, mix all seasonings.

  • Add the garbanzo beans to the mixture and mix to coat with hands.

  • Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Pour the beans onto the baking sheet in a single layer.

  • Place the pan on the lowest rack in the oven. Stir the beans every 15-20 minutes.

  • Cook until beans are brown and crispy, about 45 minutes.

  • Remove from the oven and transfer to a bowl to cool. Use a bowl with a lid for storage.
