Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork

  • 1/2 cup chopped water chestnuts

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 egg

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 1 package wonton wrappers

  • Sweet and sour sauce

Directions

  • Combine the ground pork, water chestnuts, salt, soy sauce, egg, and green onions in a bowl.

  • Place 1 teaspoon of mixture onto the center of each won top wrapper. Follow directions on the won ton package to seal the wraps correctly.

  • Place a small amount of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry each won ton until golden brown.

  • If desired, serve with sweet and sour sauce.
