2 cups whole almonds
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons coconut oil
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the almonds on a baking sheet and toast for 10-12 minutes.
Add the almonds and salt to a food processor or blender and process on high until the mixture begins to clump and form a paste. Add the almond extract, honey, and coconut oil. Continue to mix until the desired consistency is achieved.
Place the processed mixture in an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place. Serve the almond butter with toast or crackers, or in oatmeal.
