without knowing the history of my daughter and the fact that she was diagnosed at birth with Ehlers-Danlos. She has severe knee dislocations, and has been in and out of a wheelchair all of her life. She has great difficulty even standing still.
My daughter became ill in 2005, with a fever and many other symptoms that have not gone away.
We went to see Dr. Cush, and he automatically (without knowing her history) assumed she did not need a wheelchair, and that she was looking for sympathy, as to why she was in it.
That was said before we could even open our mouths; he had just come in the room, and was sitting down as he said this.
Who does he think he is making a misjudged commment like that? My daughter has been through enough; she didn't need an irresponsible Dr. like that to make her feel badly.
We never saw him again, and went on to find GOOD doctors that not only listened, but actually did their job, and ran tests. We now have diagnoses.
