My first appt was 5 months ago, and there has been very litte improvement with my condition; which I understand that there is no cure. I have gone through surgery, numerous medications and now to begin a round of procedures. The nurse is rude, unhelpful, unwilling to listen and look for any mistakes. Less than 24 hours post-op, still waiting for my medicine to come through to my pharmacy, she kept rudely telling me she had sent it numerous times! I use a small, family pharmacy; so basically, it is not going to get lost in a stack of a million things at a CVS somewhere across the country. Well... come to find out, months later, she was sending my scripts to some pharmacy across country, because to was in to much of a hurry to pay attention to the area code she was faxing to! (Another nurse finally picked up on this for me!) THEN..... I had a catheter procedure done by another nurse recently. I am in nursing school, and let me just say, this procedure was done so incorrectly that I am suprised I do not have a kidney infection after that! Catheterization is an extremely sterile procedure, but NOPE, not for them, thats "how they do it". That is just welcoming infection right into your body! Dr. Crane is really nice, and I know he is trying, and I wonder if he is even aware. I really do not like being negative, but I feel my experience should be known, especially given that this is a urology clinic!!
