His schooling qualifications were obvious. I was not confident by his desk & demeanor, that I was under the care of a professional. He was not concerned about my health, just what he wanted to do & no attempt to read my health history I provided. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling my trust was hurt and very confused and frustrated. Almost every time I would ask him a question, he would change the subject or leave room while I was in mid sentence. He was far to arrogant to have any sort of conversation with me. I was hoping to see someone that considered all my situation & examine me for problems even along with a blood test. My neighbor could examine me and help me more than he did. He had the worst treatment of patients I have seen. He was only concerned with what he thought not what actually had or was happening. Not going there again.

I was originally referred to Dr. Schriber about 6 years ago. During the first exam, he barely let me speak, hardly looked at me, and diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. The second visit wasn't any different, except that he told me nothing would help me except walking 4 miles a day (what he didn't take into account though, was that at the time my symptoms began, I was walking a minimum of 3 miles a day, plus pushing 5-8 skids of freight 5 days a week, which I continued to do for a year and a half after the symptoms started). Furthermore, all he did was throw pills at me and tell me "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink". At that time I asked my primary care physician to send me to a different rhuematologist. The new Dr. (Dr. Jon Ryan) was much better. He listened, he ran the appropriate tests, and was willing to treat the actual condition instead of acting like he assumed I was just lazy.

Now, several years later, I was sent back to Dr. Schriber. Today's visit was simply a repeat of the first visit.

I would rather deal with the pain than go back to Dr. Schriber.
