Tejaswi Ramananda Nadig
Dr. Tejaswi Nadig is an Interventional Pulmonologist and a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat cancers and other ailments involving the lungs.
Dr. Nadig was born in Bengaluru, India and earned his medical degree from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and following this, completed his fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine, also at MUSC. He proceeded to complete additional sub-specialty training in interventional pulmonology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
His clinical interest includes advanced COPD, lung cancer, pleural space infections and effusions. During his inpatient service time, Dr. Nadig provides care for patients admitted to the intensive care units at MUSC and also provides consultative services to hospitalized patients with pulmonary diseases. His research interests include evaluating new technologies for the diagnosis of lung lesions such as robotic assisted bronchoscopy and cryotherapy.
