About
Dr. Caristi is one of the founding partners of Coastal Pediatric Associates and worked at Children’s Medical Associates, a division of MUSC’s Carolina Family Care, for 12 years prior to the establishment of Coastal Pediatric Associates in 2007.
Currently, Dr. Caristi is the Managing Partner in addition to leading the Newborn Hospitalist team.
In her free time Dr. Caristi enjoys reading, traveling, listening to live music, and spending time with her husband Michael, and their two grown sons, Tony and Joey, who both still call the Lowcountry home.

Dr. Kim Caristi was born and raised in Parkersburg, WV. She attended Ohio University for her undergraduate studies, West Virginia University for medical school and completed her Pediatric residency at the Medical University of South Carolina where she served as Chief Resident.Dr. Caristi is one of the founding partners of Coastal Pediatric Associates and worked at Children’s Medical Associates, a division of MUSC’s Carolina Family Care, for 12 years prior to the establishment of Coastal Pediatric Associates in 2007.
