Kenneth Altman, MD, PhD, is chair of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery for the Geisinger Neuroscience Institute and a professor at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Dr Altman earned a doctorate in biomedical engineering and his medical degree from Duke University. He completed a residency in Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in Laryngology & Care of the Professional Voice at Vanderbilt University. Dr Altman is a board certified, nationally known authority on laryngology, care of the professional voice, cough and dysphagia.
