Dottie has always felt called to be a midwife and is finally living a lifelong dream. She has achieved the following certifications: Certified Nurse Midwife, Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Basic life Support, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Dickens has decades of experience in high-risk labor and delivery as a registered nurse, while also supporting low-risk clients in having an unmedicated birth. She loves empowering women to make informed choices about their own bodies and healthcare. She enjoys partnering with her patients to provide evidence-based care.
