Peter G. Hamm, M.D., is a pulmonologist with Johns Hopkins Medicine Pulmonology. Dr. Hamm is also the chairman of the department of medicine and the chairman of the intensive care unit (ICU) committee at Sibley Memorial Hospital.
Dr. has an expertise in annual physicals, acute and urgent care, disease management and pulmonary medicine. He earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Bellevue Hospital Center.
Dr. Hamm has been named a Top Doctor in the Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Washington-Baltimore areas by Castle Connolly. He has also been named a Top MD by Consumers’ Checkbook Magazine.
Dr. Hamm contributed to a publication on the diagnosis of pulmonary Kaposi’s sarcoma with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and endobronchial biopsy.
