Dr. Susan Eshleman is a Professor of Pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She earned her M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and then completed a residency in Clinical Pathology and fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.Dr. Eshleman's research program includes basic, translational, and clinical research. She is a member of the Division of Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine and directs three HIV laboratories. She is a member of the Cellular and Molecular Medicine (CMM) and Pathobiology PhD training programs at JHU.
