Mark A. Meabe, MSPAS, PA-C, is a physician assistant at the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute, where he cares for hematology and oncology patients at the Outpatient Care Center in Tampa. He joined the hospital in 2024.
Before joining Johns Hopkins All Children’s, Meabe served as a physician assistant with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, where he gained specialized experience in both Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, as well as Pediatric Critical Care. This dual expertise has equipped him with a broad skill set, enabling him to manage a wide range of pediatric conditions, from cancer and blood disorders to life-threatening critical care situations.
Meabe earned his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa, followed by a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the South University PA Program in Savannah, Georgia.
In addition to his clinical work, Meabe has a strong passion for academia and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. He serves as an assistant clinical professor at the South University PA Program. He is also an active volunteer with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
