Matthew Lammi, MD MSCR is an Associate Professor of Medicine and part of the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Program. Dr. Lammi obtained his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and did his internal medicine, pulmonary, and critical care training at Temple University Hospital. He then joined the faculty at LSU in New Orleans, where he served as the Director of the Comprehensive Pulmonary Hypertension Center. He joined Johns Hopkins in 2023. He currently serves as the Associate Director of the Johns Hopkins Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Care Center and is the Associate Program Director for the Advanced Lung Disease Fellowship. His research focuses on the intersection between ILD and pulmonary hypertension, particularly in patients with systemic sclerosis. He is currently a co-Principal Investigator for a clinical trial of therapy for scleroderma associated pulmonary hypertension supported by the Department of Defense Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program. He is active in numerous societies and serves as the Chair of the Research Committee for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
