Sally Azer

She was awarded NIH T32 funding in her fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine to conduct research investigating the biophysics of platelets in bleeding disorders including von Willebrand Disease, inherited platelet disorders, and bleeding disorders of unknown cause. Her passion extends to caring for patients with complications of sickle cell disease in the inpatient setting.
