Joseph Klingen, MD
Dr Joseph Klingen’s interest in medicine goes back to high school, when he volunteered with a pediatrics infectious disease unit at a local children’s hospital. He worked his way through various tasks, including medical research while in college. He values the breadth of knowledge needed in infectious disease, as he works with all specialties. Before coming to TriHealth, Dr Klingen worked as an attending physician at Houston Center for Infectious Diseases. As a board-certified physician, he specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. He is especially interested in immunocompromised infections, hepatitis B/C and pneumonias.
