I chose to become a physician because I recognized from an early age the privilege it is to be a part of the healthcare team. Personal experiences with my family requiring emergent surgical procedures made a profound impact on my life, and helped cultivate my commitment to patient care. I was given an opportunity to contribute to people’s lives, and I remain steadfast in that pursuit. It is important to me that each patient feels like a person, rather than simply a patient. I emphasize communication with a focus on dignity, respect, and compassion. My goal is to have each person understand his/her diagnosis and to feel confident with the treatment plan we developed as a team. I have particular clinical interest in limb preservation. This encompasses the treatment of complex arterial and venous disease that contributes to the risk of limb threat. I am also passionate about the treatment of complex carotid occlusive disease, with an emphasis on minimally invasive, endovascular techniques. Outside of work, I enjoy being active outdoors with my family and two dogs. We enjoy hiking, skiing, and spending time at the pool.
