Matthew Straight
Originally from Rhode Island, Dr. Straight did his undergraduate studies at Northeastern University in Boston, majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience. After college, he joined the Teach For America corps in Dallas, TX, teaching high school math and leadership for three years before moving on to medical school. As an avid athlete himself, he took the time while teaching to coach girls volleyball, boys basketball, and football. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital, then stayed with Mount Sinai to complete a fellowship in Sports Medicine. With his limited time outside of work, he enjoys running in Central Park, cheering on New England sports teams, and traveling abroad.Services
