I chose to become a physician to be able to partner with people and their families in their care. The words I wrote as a first-year medical student sum up my goals as a physician: “I strive to see patients in the context of their community, be a good listener, be hardworking, humble, and serve as a partner in supporting healthy decisions and well-being in people’s lives.” My interests include full-spectrum primary care, including perinatal care, pediatric care, reproductive health, office-based procedures, mental health, and teaching and mentorship.
