Spyridon Basourakos, MD, MS, is a fellowship-trained urologist at University Hospitals and an Assistant Professor of Urology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He specializes in the surgical management of prostate, bladder, kidney, penile, and testicular cancers, with expertise in both open and robotic approaches. Dr. Basourakos completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center followed by a Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Basourakos has published extensively in leading medical journals and an active member of the American Urological Association and the Society of Urologic Oncology.
