Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, Ms. Gonzalez-Ortega, moved to Colorado in 2000 at the age of 15. She enrolled at Colorado Mountain College in 2011 and began her medical education by obtaining her CNA certification. She then worked as a medical assistant while pursuing her ADN and BSN degrees. In 2024, she completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Post University in Connecticut. She is Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Gonzalez-Ortega is excited to begin her practice at Grand River Health as a Family Nurse Practitioner after working as a Nurse, Clinic Manager and lastly as a RN in our Infusion Clinic.
