Dr Ki’ara Branham’s own birth story inspired her to pursue her medical specialty. She and her fraternal twin were born prematurely at 28 weeks after their mother’s two-month hospitalization. She credits her mother’s OB/GYN team for helping them beat the odds. “This is my way of giving back for the care that saved the lives of my mother, twin sister and me. I am forever blessed and grateful,” she says.She loves delivering babies, providing women's health services and developing lifelong connections with her patients. “My favorite part is being the first to tell the little ones, ‘Happy Birthday!’ and celebrating with their family,” she says.
