Dr. Parth Naleen Thakkar is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Attending Physician of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Dr. Parth Thakkar is an Assistant Attending in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYP Weill Cornell and Assistant Professor/Assistant Attending at NYP Columbia University, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Bachelor of Arts in Cell Biology & Neuroscience from Rutgers University. Dr. Thakkar completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Thakkar's research interests focus on rehabilitation, as evidenced by his peer-reviewed articles, such as "Rehabilitation of Adult Patients with Primary Brain Tumors: A Narrative Review." In addition, Dr. Thakkar is the host of the Lower Extremity Mononeuropathies podcast for the Association of Academic Physiatrists PM&R Board Review Podcast.
