I became interested in physical therapy after being exposed to it throughout a few high school cheerleading injuries. When I began pursuing my physical therapy (PT) degree, I had no idea the vast areas of expertise and different types of settings you could work in. Throughout my clinical experience at University of Florida, I became interested in pursuing a job working with patients with various neurological conditions. I am certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Big (LSVT BIG) and PWR! (Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery) with a passion for treating patients with Parkinson’s Disease as well as other movement disorders. I also enjoy treating those with multiple sclerosis (MS), post stroke, neuropathy, and geriatric patients with generalized balance disorders. It is incredibly rewarding to help people meet their functional goals and continue with activities they enjoy doing safely. Outside of work, I love playing with my young kids, spending time with my husband, traveling, and reading.
