She graduated from Chamberlain University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing, focusing on Family Nurse Practitioner at South College, Knoxville, TN where I graduated with honors. Carrico feels she became drawn to the field of neurology when her grandmother had an ischemic stroke that left her paralyzed on the right side. Carrico's special areas of interest include Alzheimer?s, dementia, Parkinson?s disease, strokes, and neuropathy. Carrico is a mother of 3 children and a Mimi to 6 grandchildren.
