Born and raised in Ishpeming, MI, Beth began her healthcare career in public health, earning a Master of Public Health from George Washinton University in Washington, DC. After that time, she was the manager of the Body Donation Program and Forensic Research Outdoor Station at Northern Michigan University (NMU) before returning to school at NMU to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then worked as an RN in the areas of inpatient cardiology, endoscopy and infusion services before deciding to return to NMU once more to earn a Master of Science in Nursing.
