Dr Nelson aims to provide exceptional pediatric care to children and families in the Upper Peninsula. A native Yooper and outdoor enthusiast, she embraced the opportunity to return home following medical school and residency and is grateful to be caring for the community where she was raised. It is my privilege to be part of the amazing team here at UP Health System that is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children in our community. I love being able to watch them grow from newborns into adolescents and the ability to help them develop healthy lifestyle habits along the way?it really is a joy to watch each individual child become their own person with their own interests and personalities that make them unique.
