Benjamin Stivers, MD
Dr Stivers attended the University of Louisville for his undergraduate work. He then completed a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics before gaining his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He did his residency at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati in General surgery. Dr Stivers is a minimally invasive general and bariatric surgeon. He moved to Somerset Kentucky in 2014 where he has been on staff at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He also enjoys teaching medical students and residents as well as serving as a Proctor for Intuitive Surgical where he helps doctors learn how to use the Da Vinci Surgical Robot.
