Syeda Sahra, MD, is a board-certified infectious disease and internal medicine physician with Saint Luke’s Infectious Disease Specialists. Dr. Sahra has specialized training in infections in immunocompromised and transplant patients. Throughout her training and education, her research interests focused on fungal infections in heart transplant patients, cardiac device infections, and HIV. She has a commitment to advancing care for immunosuppressed populations. Dr. Sahra believes patient care is all about doing what is truly right for each person. Her clinical experiences in New York City, Oklahoma, and the Mayo Clinic have given her an understanding of diverse patient needs within various health care settings. She is committed to respecting her patient’s autonomy, understanding their perspective, and providing support and empowering them throughout their care.
