Dr Block-Abraham earned her bachelors degree from Barry University and medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in OB/Gyn at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she served as an administrative Chief Resident. She then completed her maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center and an additional two years of formal fellowship training in fetal intervention.Dr Block-Abraham’s research interests broadly include preeclampsia, fetal therapy and health policy.
