Stephanie Jou, MD is a board-certified non-invasive cardiologist who specializes in advanced cardiovascular imaging at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn-Methodist Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Her clinical interests include preventive cardiology, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, women’s cardiovascular health, and the application of cardiovascular imaging, including echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, nuclear stress testing, and vascular ultrasound. In addition to seeing patients in her outpatient clinic, Dr. Jou provides inpatient care in the cardiac telemetry unit and consultative cardiology service. She is committed to providing patient-centered and evidence-based medicine to ensure her patients receive the highest quality, comprehensive care. Dr. Jou earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College, where she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at NYP-Columbia University Irving Medical Center and her fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Jou then completed additional training in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at Mount Sinai Hospital, during which she gained expertise in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and cardiac PET.
