Marisabel Castillo, MD
Dr Castillo is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Palm Beach County. Through her clinical research, she has contributed to innovative immunotherapies and strategies to identify and reduce disparities in cancer diagnosis and treatment. Dr Castillo served as research coordinator of Phase 1 oncology clinical trials at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and as cardiology research assistant at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She graduated magna cum laude from Central University of Venezuela, completed residency training at New York University and was appointed chief fellow during her hematology/medical oncology fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin.
