Beatriz D’Onghia, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist at Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care | FIU. She has more than 15 years of experience in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Her clinical interests include mood disorders, autism and mental illness in children. In addition to providing patient care, Dr. D’Onghia serves as clerkship director and assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral health at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Dr. D’Onghia earned her medical degree at Universidad Centro Occidental Lisandro Alvarado in Barquisimeto. Venezuela. She completed a psychiatry residency as well as a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in child psychiatry and adult psychiatry.
