Dr. Paula Lee, MD, graduated with honors in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University, where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She earned her medical degree from Korea University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, and completed her adult neurology residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, where she served as chief resident. She subsequently completed fellowships in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Lee is board-certified in Neurology, Epilepsy, and Clinical Neurophysiology.With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Lee previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and as a staff neurologist at the Iowa City VA Hospital. She specializes in neurology, with a particular focus on medically refractory epilepsy, responsive neurostimulation (RNS), vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), and the care of women with epilepsy. She reads continuous video EEG monitoring and intraoperative monitoring. Outside of her practice, Dr. Lee enjoys yoga and spending time with her family. She is currently accepting new patients and works with most major insurance providers.
