Dr El-Hawary is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon with the neuromuscular team at Boston Children’s Hospital and is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. He previously worked at IWK Health in Halifax, Canada as Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and Associate Chief of Surgery. While in Halifax, he was a Professor with the Department of Surgery and had cross-appointments with the School of Biomedical Engineering and with the Division of Neurosurgery at Dalhousie University.Ron is currently on the Board of Directors of the Scoliosis Research Society and of the Pediatric Spine Foundation.
