He has extensive experience as a hospitalist and has been recognized for his contributions to optimizing lung cancer care through education, innovation, and partnership. Dr Hammad earned his doctorate of medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University at Buffalo. He further specialized by completing fellowship training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at the University of Oklahoma. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Hammad serves as a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
