What I Do My philosophy of care grows out of a larger desire to see others live fruitful and abundant lives. I find that fancy numbers, metrics and statistics don’t always accurately portray an excellent outcome. Rather, I measure success by quality of life. Vascular surgery is a unique specialty with unique patients, largely owing to the progressive nature of the disease. Patients may at times require multiple procedures or frequent follow-up visits to maintain a desired outcome. My goal is to form an alliance with my patients. I seek to make decisions with, and not for, those who are seeking care. When we recognize the humanity of our patients, we are better able to see their perspectives.
