Ray provides care in low and high-risk births, family planning and contraception, annual exams, STD testing and counselling. She also has special interest in alternative birthing options like water birth.

Certified Nurse Midwife Janis Ray worked as a NICU/PICU/Cardio-pulmonary nurse at the University of Iowa for six years before deciding to become a midwife.“Working closely with mothers and their babies really inspired me to want to serve this special population,” Ray said. “Women are a very special group to be of service to, encourage, advocate for and teach.”
