Laura Levin, MD, FAAD, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Levin graduated from Brown University and earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency in General Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College, followed by a Pediatric Dermatology fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital where she currently practices adult and pediatric dermatology. She is board-certified in general dermatology as well as pediatric dermatology. Dr. Levin has a particular interest in wound care and caring for patients with Epidermolysis Bullosa. She is focused on efforts to improve the transition from pediatric to adult-centered healthcare. She serves as medical director for the dermatology Ambulatory Care Network clinic for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Society for Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance, and International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has spoken at local and national dermatology conferences.
