Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?: I knew from an early age that I wanted to go into health care. There was a picture of me at the age of two, walking around with my aunt (who is a nurse) with a stethoscope and gloves. I was drawn to family medicine in medical school. I was interested in every field that I encountered and found that family medicine allowed me to experience a little bit of everything. I believe this is a calling/vocation in my life, and I am deeply blessed and humbled to be a part of this field. I love the variety I experience every day and the ability to see families across generations. It is truly one of the most rewarding experiences.
