Andrea Smith, CNM, WHNP-BC is a faculty midwife at in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Prior to joining Midwives of Medstar, Andrea worked at midwifery practices in Trenton, New Jersey and Prince George's County, Maryland. Andrea first fell in love with birth while shadowing midwives in Oaxaca and Morelos, Mexico.
