Dr. Barbu Gociman is is a board certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery) specializing in all areas of craniofacial surgery including cleft lip, nose and palate deformities, craniosynostosis, and ear reconstruction, as well as general pediatric plastic surgery, post-traumatic facial reconstruction, and all aspects of aesthetic surgery. Dr. Gociman earned his MD degree from University of Medicine Carol Davila in Romania and his PhD in Human Genetics from the University of Utah. He completed his internship in General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic and formal residency training in General Surgery at the University of Toledo. Subsequently, he returned to the University of Utah and completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and his fellowship in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery. He is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah.Services
