Dr Michael Schiedler (he/him) is an Oregon native and did his undergraduate training at Oregon State University, studying bioengineering before going to work for SIGA Technologies after graduation. During his time there he worked on smallpox and dengue virus antivirals, prompting him to apply to medical school. He then attended Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington, graduating in 2014 and performing his internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship training at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis before graduating in 2020. He finished his training in interventional cardiology at Providence Southfield Hospital through Michigan State University.
