I am a neuro-ophthalmologist with a special interest in the neuro-ophthalmic complications of cancer and brain tumors; including vision loss, double vision, nystagmus (shaking of the eyes), and pupil changes. I am the director of neuro-ophthalmology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and have the privilege of performing neuro-ophthalmological consultations for patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. My research interests include the effects of cancer, and especially leptomeningeal disease, on the optic nerve and the immune effects of certain cancers (paraneoplastic disease) on the optic nerve and retina.Services
